Has anyone got any advice on any of the NY Bar Courses on offer in London, UK? good/bad/indifferent?

It depends what the course is. I recommend BarBri. Do not try to study it on your own without any guidance. You will fail for sure.

Is New York Bar a paper based or a computer based examination?

It is paper based. You get one of those awful scantron multiple choice answer papers to fill in the blanks on.

CLT offers a New York Bar course in conjunction with BarBri in London. However BPP also offers one in London which they claim is specially tailored for UK lawyers. The BPP course costs a little less than the CLT one. Haven't attended either so cannot comment on quality.
