A guy I went to law school with has recently been accepted to UCL. (about a year out with no law firm experience). I recall from our LLB graduation ceremony that the guy did not receive honours. Do you have any idea if the minimum academic standard for UCL is actually lower than ithe 2A standard advertised on the website?

I wish it was that easy! Unfortunately I was not admitted to the LL.M at UCL. My GPA is 3.9/5.0, with one year of working experience with the Governement. Anyway I was admited (and will attend) King College of London, which seems to be very good as well.

Hi mike m. I'm really surprised UCL didn't take you with that GPA score. I enquired recently about doing the LLM this coming Septemeber and they told me the deadline for applications had been extended to early September. So they can't be oversubscribed. Did you choose a really popular specialism/courses?
