Hello!

Have you guys already submitted your application to the LLM programme of LSE for the 2021-2022 period? Is there anyone who already has the application processed? When do you think that they will have a decision?

Thanks!

Hi!

I already submitted my application in late October and my application is processed. I talked to my friend who is currently studying LLM in LSE and they said it usually took around 2 months to have a decision. Last year, she submitted in early October and had an offer from LSE by December.

Just got a rejection email. Took them 2 weeks. Only thing is i met the minimum requirements so i cant tell what went wrong.
Anyways i wish best of luck to you guys!

Oh no, I'm really sorry to hear that!

As a side note, how much does LSE consider GPA in the admission process? I graduated from the Top 3 law schools in my country with a 3.6 GPA, higher than the  3.5 GPA requirements they had on their website. But if I convert my GPA to the UK grading system, I would be barely passing by with a 65% or a "strong" 2:1.

I do have solid work experience and strong references, but I was wondering if my GPA would adversely affect my application since I know LSE (and UK universities in particular) place higher consideration on academic grades than LLM programs in other countries/universities.

all news heard from LSE are rejection. I have several friends who has high GPA(3.9/4), high ITELS (8) were rejected by LSE. This year is really horrible! The competition is too severe.

Hey guys,
in what order are your documents listed in the application tracker? my transcripts are listed below my statement of academic purpose and my cv but above the references. I‘m not sure if it has been like that all the time.

The order of the documents mentioned by you is the initial order. According to previous LSE application threads, your transcripts will drop below your references shortly before you will receive an offer.

Hi

I wanted to understand if its true that LSE does not really consider late apps even if it specifies rolling apps? I heard that December- January is a bit late? I am quite worried because I was dealing with other apps and leaving it for at least January. Any news/tips will be very very helpful.

Thanks!! :)

Hello there! I have a friend that submitted in (early) Jan last year and still got an offer - but even she admitted that leaving it to Jan is cutting it really tight. Best of luck!

Hey, future classmates. I was selected last year but got a deferral. So if you need any help, just send me a DM.

The transcript drop was true in my case. My transcript dropped and I received the offer a few days later.

Do you guys think that LSE actually lets you know about the potential offer in "approx. 8 weeks", or should we expect them to begin releasing all offers in January simultaneously?

Hi Everyone, I've just discovered this post. Does the advice here work for anyone who applied for a master's at LSE or is it specifically for LLM students? E.g how the transcript drops to the bottom? (Please share any other useful posts related to LSE apps for 2021/22 you're aware of) thx.
