Hello to everyone!

Has anyone requested extension for the tuition fee deposit to UCL? I haven't decided yet where to go, UCL or LSE, and the deadline for UCL is near.

Thank you in advance

Hiya! Just received an unconditional offer from QMUL for Medical Law! :) Still waiting to see what my options are before making a final decision.

If you choose QMUL, we will be meeting there. I accepted my offer for Dispute Resolution after I heard about Cambridge's rejection!

Yay! So we could be course buddies :) Hopefully I get the decisions for other my applications ASAP so I can decide once and for all.

Hey, can someone guide me about the selection criteria at KCL? I got accepted at UCL, QMUL but was turned down by KCL. Weird, right?.

Not really, since 3 years KCL seems more selective. A lot of students at KCL were also admitted to UCL but the opposite is not true.
I spoke about it with my friends and it is what we concluded. If I remember well the ratio candidates/admitted candidates is lower for KCL than for UCL.

Hi everyone. I've been admitted to QMUL (MSC in law and finance) and KCL's LLM. Could anyone please share information on QMUL's MLF program, as there are not so many reviews on the Internet (not considering the ones on the official website)? Is it a recognized one or just an experiment (following Oxford's experience, but the comparison won't be objective, as at Oxford the MLF's students are offered with a full access both to the law school and to the reputable Said business school)?
Are there any other aspects to consider when choosing between these two programs? Would appreciate any comment in this regard. Wish you good luck in your admissions).

Hiya! :)

For those of you who applied for the LLM at KCL and UCL, how long (roughly) did it take for them to give you a decision? Thanks! :)

Ok, thanks! And in the meantime, did the King's Apply system indicate any change in the status of the documents you sent them?

I don't think so, but I'm not sure because I didn't follow it closely... I just received an e-mail in the end telling me there was a new message in King's Apply for me.

QMUL,KCL or UCL for LLM in International Dispute Resolution? Extremely hard to decide!
UCL has a better ranking but QMUL seems like a more recognised place in the arbitration community. Similarly for KCl. Any insights?

Not that hard, I think. Talking about Dispute Resolution, it seems like a no-brainer to me. Just look at the professors and the faculty: if you have ever read / done some research on intl arbitration, you should be able to easily recognize most of QMUL's team. If you are used to read ADR blogs -specially the arbitration ones-, you will most likely have crossed paths with one of QMUL's arbitration surveys. Of course, there is then the prestige of KCL, UCL or LSE, but none of them comes close to QMUL when it comes to Dispute Resolution. At least that is what I have perceived when reading scholars on the topic. That is UK, of course, as there are a few other great options outside.

If you choose QMUL, we will be meeting there. I accepted my offer for Dispute Resolution after I heard about Cambridge's rejection!

Hey, pinkUY, I have an offer at QMUL's Dispute Resolution. Thing is, I got unconditional offers from both London and Paris programs, and I can't decide for one of them. Moreover, I still have two pending applications (also for Dispute Resolution) and plan on waiting for those offers to come before making a decision.

Hi guys I have a silly question. I have offers from UCL and LSE, and I haven't decided on where to go to. Do you guys have any insights or comments?

I haven't really decided on what courses to take yet, and I don't really mind about the campus/university culture etc., my considerations are solely on the quality of teachings/reputation/career prospects/alumni network etc.

I have already confirmed my offer for the LLM programme at London, so if you also decide on such option, send me a private message so we can start exchanging tips on accommodation, the University, etc. We both are South Americans so I think it will be a good idea to keep in touch as we may be classmates.

Hope to meet you in London!

Hey everyone I saw earlier that someone had commented asking whether anyone had asked to delay paying the deposit for UCL. I'm in a similar position. I need to hold off on accepting offers from UCL, KCL, LSE and Edinburgh until I hear back about scholarships. Has anyone asked for an extension? Or heard about scholarships?

I will write to you as soon as I make up my mind. Always nice to know there are other Latin Americans in these circumstances! Hope to meet you!

Hey, can someone guide me about the selection criteria at KCL? I got accepted at UCL, QMUL but was turned down by KCL. Weird, right?.

I was initially told I didn't meet the minimum criteria but I asked for feedback and found out that they had made a mistake assessing my degree. They offer to provide feedback so there's no harm in asking right?
