I just got an email saying that i've been recommended for an offer by Laws and they've sent said recommendation to the central Graduate Admissions Office (whom have the final say, but apparently 9.9/10 recommendations from Laws become offers).
So yeah! 10th of December is when mine became complete.
Best of luck to everyone else.

I'm still waiting... although I completed my application November 29th.
I think it almost means I'm rejected...
Is there anyone who has been waiting more than 6 weeks?

My application was complete on 13 November..While I was starting to think that, well, rejection is coming, suddenly I received an unconditional offer just a few days ago! So dont lose your faith, youll be just fine, mate in a week or two maximum:-)

I was waiting over six weeks (around eight..) so I wouldn't worry.
I actually ended up ringing them just saying it's been over the time limit blahblah and they were really nice so yeah!
I think it just depends which tutor you get; some probably do it quicker than others!

Yup got mine last week online, just received a conditional offer through the post this week as well. I'm in my final year of LLB, so they've set me a condition of 65%.. though I'm on track for a first (hopefully!)

I really hope I get the stuff through soon!
Where are all you guys from?

I`m from Ukraine, mate) and you? why did you decide to go for llm program?
Posted Feb 08, 2013 08:35
I'm from England (Liverpool to be precise). I want to go to the Bar and I thought it'd a) look good on a CV and b) be good to have more specialised knowledge of my area before I go to the job market; yourself?

Replied!
Kreeslin I've just got my offer through and they gave me one of 63% (although I got a first last year). I wonder how they work it out?

Hey,
For those of you who got notice of acceptance. Did you get an e-mail saying "we are recommending your application"? If so, what was the situation of your application on the Portico at this time? Was it still "we have received your offer and it is being assessed" or had it already changed to something else?
Thanks for any help.
BW.

I did indeed, if they are recommending it then 9.9/10 you will get an offer (their words, not mine). It basically means that they want you but it's up to central admissions to give the official offer (including the percentage you need to get to get in; this does change like I got offered 63%, i've heard 65% from someone else and i've heard 67% from someone before...65% seems to be average though!)
I'd say it's basically an offer, so well done! Portico took a week to update for me.
Where are you coming from for it?

Dear Lawundergrad thank you for your prompt answer. Unfortunately, I feel your congratulations may have been a little precocious as I haven't received an e-mail but the Portico status has switched to "currently being processed by admissions" a few hours ago. I don't know if this means that an e-mail may still be forthcoming or whether I won't be receiving an offer which is why I was curious as to people's Portico's messages.
What did you Portico change to out interest once it did change? It's almost as if the system was drawn up to stress me out.
If still of interest, I graduated from Oxford Law last year.
Thanks again.

Ah, sorry! If central admissions are processing it then I would assume that means you got a recommendation; if you don't get a recommendation what is there to process?
They sent me an email but only after I rang them because they had my application for ages and during the call she said she'd email me if I got a recommendation; I don't think telling you of a recommendation is a standard thing to do.
Portico changed to 'currently being processed by admissions' around 5 days after I got the email, after another two I got an offer. I assume you just haven't had the email because you haven't spoke to them on the phone (which I did).
Honestly, I'd be surprised if you didn't get the offer. You could always ring law admissions though!

Hey,
I would certainly agree with you on the logic but we'll have to see if that holds up in practice.
Thank you for all your help.
Best

Turns out I worried for nothing. Got an unconditional offer at 2 am this morning with no 'recommendation to Admissions' e-mail (maybe that's only for conditional offers?).
Also, to reply to the above, they will not look at your application until both references have been received.
See you guys in September,
Best.
Conor

Congratulations!! The way it was said to me is you only get the recommendation email if you ask for it.
May well see you in September.
Best,
Tom

Hi all,
Took about 9 weeks for a reply from UCL and only after I contacted them about the wait so if you've been waiting for more than 7/8 weeks after all reference were uploaded i'd send them an email. Does anyone know anything about living acc. for LLM students?

Also if your status has changed to "currently being processed by admissions" I'd expect an answer in the coming days. Good luck!!!!
