UCL is rated high in some rankings (see http://www.llm-guide.com/law-school-rankings), but KCL is popular among students from continental Europe. LSE is much more expensive than the other Colleges in London. It does not participate in the University of London inter-collegiate LLM either, which means that LSE students usually are not allowed to attend classes offered by SOAS, KCL, UCL and QMW.

When is it best to apply to universities in London? Is it too late now for 2005/2006?

I am also applying to UCL and King's, I think you can apply until April or May.

Is anyone else here applying to Kings', SOAS or UCL? At how many different colleges is it recommended to apply to make sure that you get accepted for the masters in law? Of courses, this depends on grades etc. But I just would like to know how everyone else is handling it!

A friend of mine was enrolled at UCL a few years back and she majored in international employment law. She took courses both at UCL and at KCL (you can take courses from all participating Colleges in London). She was very happy with the college, the classes offered and the lecturers.

I will probably go to UCL (if they take me) and major in shipping law, good courses there. But I apply to Kings also to be sure and then take the UCL courses anyway. Good luck!

hi,
i got offers from ucl and queen mary. accepted queen mary. the acceptance letter in ucl states that i may contract with no other uni of london colleges upon acceptance with them. does this mean that my existing place in queen mary, as well as my pending applications with kcl and soas will cease to exist?
please advise!
