Hi everybody,
I have gone through all the details of this course, LL.M in Innovation, Technology and law through University of Edinburgh via distance learning. Is there anyone who has enrolled for this course in the past or is a current student, preferably from India? Can you give me an overview regarding the employment prospects available in India after completion of this course? Is the course value for money and time invested? Or is it advisable to enroll for an Indian LL.M? Please guide, not on any hearsay, but with experience.
Many thanks for your help in advance.

Hi, I work with this programme at The University of Edinburgh, there has been considerable interest from India this year, so hopefully we'll have some students to talk of their experience soon. Meanwhile, you can read a little bit about other students' experiences here: http://www.law.ed.ac.uk/distancelearning/programme/casestudy/index.htm
If you email llm.distance@ed.ac.uk or post up any further questions, I'd be happy to discuss further with you.

Hi Colin,
Thank you for your reply. I'm the same person, Akansha Agarwal(that's how it's spelt for all official purposes), who has interacted with you in the past through my personal e-mail account. You've been of great help and I truly appreciate that. I was actually looking forward to some first hand information from an enrolled Indian student... However, I have put a foot on the threshold and trying to avail the best of opportunities available. Lets see what's in store for me... :)
Many thanks again...

I was admitted to the LLM in commercial law at Edinburgh University for the upcoming year starting next fall.
Since I also got accepted at Wawrick LLM in international corporate governance and financial regulation. I would appreciate any personal insights you could possibly give me about studying in Edinburgh.
I personally, have a business background in finance and would like to complement this with a sound education in law.

Jenn.imme,
Not sure if you meant to respond to this particular post but since you ask, what info would you like about Edinburgh Commercial Law LLM--the Commercial Law LLM is not a distance LLM, by the way, for anyone reading this post. The staff for the Commerical programme is great and extremely helpful. David Cabrelli, Laura Macgregor and Gillian Black are all quite involved with the practice and quite prolific writers, too, which is helpful for this type of degree.
Also, Edinburgh is generally ranked higher than Warwick so another thing to consider. Plus it is a fantastic place to live. Gorgeous city with lots of cultural activities.
Hope this helps.
