Just saw online there are going to be University strikes (this includes KCL) from Dec 1st - Dec 3rd, so if we don’t get a reply tomorrow, its most likely we’ll be getting a reply next week instead (if we messaged through Kings Apply)

is that any direct email address to the admission team that we can contact outside kings portal after applying?

no idea? i think they only want queries in regards to the application(s) to be sent via kings apply. they have an email to be contacted with but it says its only for technical issues so I don’t know how far you’ll get if you’re attempting to enquire about your application through that, but you can always try? you can find the email on the login page (scroll down to ‘TECHNICAL ISSUES WITH KING'S APPLY’ section)

it's been six weeks since I submitted the application and yet any decision issued, I don't know whether someone here got their decision today. I am a bit worried the decision will take longer than six weeks due to the strike campaign with the staff this week (and since a few weeks ago). It's a big issue for me since I have a deadline to confirm with my scholarship sponsor. Already messages them previously they told likely will take longer than six weeks. previously I applied in 2019, exactly 5 weeks the results was released. hopefully any of you guys can share something if there is any update on your application.

I applied October 18th and I still have no response/update in terms of my application. My deadline to respond to QM is 28th December and I’m at a point where I’ll probably just accept the QM offer and then just wait til KCL either give me an offer or reject me????‍♀️

I currently study at another UK university which are part of the same strikes and only the lecturers are striking. I do not think the admissions and recruitment team does.

This is what I have sent the department however does anyone else have any inputs on this?

I had submitted my Master of Laws application on 18th october, 6 weeks ago. However I have received no updates on my application, except one change in document status. Other applicants who applied later than me have got all their documents checked already so I am a bit worried and I am wondering when I can expect a decision?

None of my documents have had their status changed (I applied 18th October as well) and I’ve already graduated from a UK university this year. I just messaged them to ask for a time-frame for when my application will most likely be given an update

just heard back from them: they said it might take upto 8 weeks or more.

Ah, I’m scared I’m going to be rejected now since I applied 18th October and none of my documents have been updated - they all still say ‘received’

Hi! my documents all said “received” when i got my offer(and they do still now), so maybe that’s not a sign. BTW, i applied on October 20. Gook luck for you!

honestly i have no idea because people who applied after me are receiving offers and i’ve gotten nothing. its making me nervous

Absolutely! I was accepted for 2021/22 after applying in late March 2021 (but couldn't take up my offer for personal reasons). I think it's obviously better to apply earlier, but you should not be discouraged and apply until applications have officially closed.

Just got a message from Kings Apply - my application has been assessed and has been considered strong enough to be placed on hold whilst they assess other applicants. So, I guess I’m currently on the waiting list until further notice.
