Hi Sayak...I can´t tell you the exactly living cost in London, but in my experience is London a very expensive town, especially central London. When you live outside from central London (f.e. Eastham and Wembly, where you can find a huge indian community and many asian stores and restaurants), then the living costs should be cheaper. I hope somebody else can give you more information than me. Good luck!

Hi Sayak,
I dont too much about living cost in London, but I'll offer u my 2 cents worth, anyway.
i was in london recently, and its very expensive city. However, like Caroline pointed out the suburbs like Wembly and other neighbourhoods with a high asian population is relatively cheaper. As a student, u'll be able to get discounts on travel cards and even on theatre tickets(am not abolutely sure about this, but am sure about the travel tickets).
Also, if you plan your budget, it is possible to live within say 600-800 pounds a month, but ofcourse I could be wrong.
Warwick is a great school, and you'll have a great year!
Cheers!

Hi!
I am an indian law student. I need your help in deciding whether i should sign my training contract for two years to appear for my London Solicitor exam. I need to know as to how would this qualification help me in getting admission in a good LLM university .Further, being an Indian, how would it enhance my carreer prospects in a good International law firm.
Also, for securing admission for LLM in the US would this Sol. qualification help me?
Awaiting eagerly for an urgent reply as i have to make a decision soon...

"Universities UK estimates that living costs for a full year of studies in the UK are between £5,000 and £6,000 per annum. The British Council gives a higher estimate, estimating average living costs (covering accommodation, food, clothing, entertainment, books and daily travel) for an international student studying a degree course at £730 per month in London or £585 per month elsewhere."
