Dear all
I have a question concerning the nature of offers conditional on an academic achievement.
Does anyone know if one can get an offer conditional on obtaining a certain academic grade in a programme which is not their 'basis' law degree.
Ok, to put it more pratically. I am doing a one year post-graduate course (I have just finished my law degree) which will end in June this year. Is there a chance that a uni will ask me to get a certain grade/ranking in that programme or do academic offers only relate to the master in law programmes?
In my view I wouldn't be very fair to put an additional burden on an applicant who studies before pursuing an LL.M in the UK compared to an applicant who spends the year between the end of his law degree and the beginning of the LL.M working or doing nothing?
Anyone has some experience with this or knows something more?
Many thanks, fellow applicants !

I think, for some reasons including the one you gave, that they will never ask for you to get a grade in an extra year. It will just be seen as a plus for your application :)
