Hi everyone!
I am currently arranging all the documents for an application to several British LLM-programmes and I am almost done. There are just the academic references missing.
One of my referees told me that he is finished writing and wanted to know about the upcoming procedure of transmission.
My question now is: How do you handle the references? I will apply via the online application systems so I understand that my referee will have to upload the document himself. I will tell him to get a PDF version of the file. But does he have to sign it?? Because if so I would ask him to print it out, sign it and then scan it again to PDF.
What do you think? Do the universities require a signature?
Thanks for any help!

Hi Dear,
It depends for which university you are applying for. For example, KCL and QMUL you can upload the reference by yourself. On other hand, for LSE, Cambridge and UCL you must inform the email of your references, so the university will contact them to send the letters.
