Hi guys,

Bit of an existential crisis here with two days to change my mind on my application. I've been given a conditional offer at Manchester and made it my firm choice, and an unconditional offer at Edinburgh which I made my insurance option.

Can someone please tell me this was a sound idea? The program at Manchester is of course 3 years, whereas I qualified for the Accelerated Degree at Edinburgh, 2 years plus a year of conversion (hopefully) if I want to practice in Canada.

School rankings considered, is this a sound choice? I've been losing a moderate amount of sleep over it.
Any advice you have would be appreciated.

Go for Edinburgh - much more well known in academia and in the corporate world. Also the city is ACE.

The academics are very good at Edin too!

Manchester is generally not that good.

I would blindly go for Edinburgh...! it is an excellent University
