I want to apply to the University of Edinburgh, but I'm not sure whether to choose the General LLM or the LLM in Comparative and European Private Law. Both are of particular interest to me, but I am not sure if you can apply to both at the same time.

Is there someone who has done it or intends to do it?

Do they make you select one in your application or is there a way to select multiple programs?

Hi! There isn't a way to select multiple programmes, I think I would have to make two different applications, one for the general LLM, and other for the Private Law LLM. What do you think?

You are more than welcome to apply for more than one programme, though you will have to make separate applications. We would recommend that you limit the amount of programmes you apply for – what we want to see from applicants is that they are focused on what they want to do and take a diligent approach to applications.
