Brother first of very sorry for late reply, secondly I have selected dundee instead of aberdeen, but its my opinion or decision may be you differ from it...... actually I searched a lot like from last 1 and half year.... but never got any satisfied answer from ppl who graduated from these unis.... means a person who graduated from UoA,he said aberdeen is best and same was the case with dundee graduates....
the pros of UoA are that ... its an ancient uni founded in 1495.... a big library.... aberdeen city known as oil capital of europe.... big city, Professor Alex Kemp director of MSc PEEF who got life time achievement award as a petroleum economist...... But the reason why I have chosen dundee instead of aberdeen is that dundee has a separate department for all energy studies i.e CEPMLP( centre for energy ,petroleum and mineral law and policy) , this centre is highly ranked and recognized in whole world....In the course content, UoD has diversity in their modules... you can choose your courses from many options while In UoA in MSc PEEF they have only one extra module which you can choose and out of 9 2 are accounting and corporate finance( which I both learned in my previous studies) and also MSc PEEF comes under the Aberdeen business school while UoD has CEPMLP for all energy studies, UoA doesn't have a separate centre like UoD.....
THe gist of my msg is that if you purely want to entre in energy field choose UoD because it has diversity in courses and main reason is CEPMLP.... and if you want more business studies with the spice of energy studies go for Aberdeen....
Finally, decision all depends on your side which you really need, UoA not a bad university very old and world recognized.... but the main point is what you want to do....
if you need any further help, dont hesitate to msg me,
Kind regards,
Ahsan.

Hi Ashan,
Thanx for reply.
Actually m already in energy field from last 4 years n hv exposure of almost all activities r8 from site constructions to commercials. now i want to know more abt energy issues, policies and business as i did my B.tech in Electronics and Communications.
I had heard a lot about this UOA and applied their, fortunately or unfortunately,i got conditional offer from UOA (With GMAT Score, knew few days before, thinking to extend this for next year).
Can you suggest good universities which offers same course.(If i will wait for 1 yr)
Regards
Tripti
