Hey there Im pretty excited too and I hope I get my visa petty soon!
About your questions:
1. wat should we carry with us lots of cloths including winters collection ? utensils n cooker ?
Yes bring winter clothes but Im just bringing a bug coat, and 3 smaller ones thats it i dont have much space. Your scarf and gloves of course, maybe a hat. Dont bring any cooking utensils or plates,,its gonna be too much weight and space!!!!!!!!!!
2. hw much money should we carry with us initially 500$- 1000$ ? n traveller checks?
Dont know about traveller checks i have never used them. Im bringing around 300 pounds cash to buy some stuff i need when I get there and pay per example for my beddings which i purchased from my university hall and also to buy cooking utensils, plate, etc and also to get a bike and other personal use products.
3. Is the ISIC(int. student Identity Card) really useful as recommanded by many seniors.
I think it is and I got mine, you get many discounta at several places and also when you purchase flights at Sta travel (travel agency). Here are the places that give you discounts: http://www.isic.org/student-discounts/discounts-worldwide.aspx
4. Should i change my driving License to Int. driving license before moving thr.
Only if you are planning to get a car in the UK yes.
One other thing,,,,halls or student houses dont usually dont give your any bedding but you can purchase it from them,,,so just make sure you get yours!
look on google maps how to get from the airport/train/bus to your hall so you dont get lost!
Good luck :)

I dont know about other Halls but Lillian Penson Hall provides you with bedding. So those of you going there must not buy any bedding also Liilian Penson hall has only single and double bed ensuite rooms.
