I've been accepted to do the LLM at LSE and Cambridge. I know both are great Universities. I'm a little torn about which to chose. I heard that the LLM at Cambridge isn't that great. Does anyone have any incites to which University offers the best programme and has the best reputation? Much appreciated.

Why Cambridge LLM is not great? Where did you get this info from?

You may approach this subject from a non-academic angle; i.e. quality of living; London is a very exciting city, while Cambridge does not offer that much to do; a year is a big chunk of your adult life, after all.
Of course there is the cost of living issue... London is everything but cheap.
Anyway, you should be thankful that deciding between LSE vs. Cam is the kind of problem that you are facing right now.

LSE has a far wider selection of courses and you might want to specialise in some area in which it has a lot of courses running?

I have the same problem and, after thinking for two weeks, I think I'm gonna opt for LSE since it is more specialised and it is not that common law oriented. What LL.M. would you be undertaking?

U can't study feminist approaches to taxation at Cambridge...

Outside the United Kingdom, Cambridge and LSE have outstanding academic reputations, rivalling the best universities in the world. Within the U.K., I would say Cambridge has the edge, owing to the fact that Oxbridge represents the establishment, while LSE, the centre-left, democratic socialist alternative. London is a more exciting city to live in, but is also very expensive. Cambridge is a university town, and may be more conducive to the life of the mind.
