Hello,
I've just watched a video from the Cambridge Faculty Of Law's Open Day 2006 (http://www.law.cam.ac.uk/microsites/openday/roger_o_keefe.php) . Somewhere at the end of the first half of the video Dr. O'Keefe says that they're are looking for the top 2.5%. Is it really that challenging to get into Cambridge? Top 2.5% of class? Would be rather discouraging...
Cambridge - only top 2.5% admitted?

Does this maybe only refer to prospective undergraduate students? Hopefully...

I reckon he means law students generally, so if you've been to a first rank uni, then you're already in the top half of the pile. I wasn't top 2.5% of my year and i got in, and frankly i'm not sure they'd fill 150 spots if their criteria were really that tough. Say Cambridge has 200 law undergrads for instance, they can't only be admitting the first 5!
