I graduated in Hong Kong with 4 years' working experience. I note that many relatively good universities requires 2:1. However, my grading is not really bad, i got a few As, many Bs and Cs (except one subject about equity got D). I am interested in applying commercial law/ intellectual property law in QMUL, Birmingham, Aberdeen and Durham for the year of 2009. Can anyone advise on the likelihood of acceptance from them?
thanks!
2:2 class: eligible QMUL and Birmingham ?

FM 1409,
from where i have heard...and seen.....as far as QMUL is concerned they will take you in with high second class honours without work experience...my friend got in with a second class score. so i think QMUL will take u in given that you do have good scored except one and the most important thing of all you have work experience. also my same friend applied to Aberdeen and got a conditional; offer, and i think later got an acceptance....Birmingham i am not to keen to advise. so there is no harm in contacting them and sending your admission application.

Rohannasir,
Thank you very much. I would take your advice to apply for those universities. The entry requirement of thoe universities are scary for those low second class honour like me. I've checked that the tuition fee for those universities were around 11,000 sterling pounds, for a normal student life, is it enough for a girl to survive in london for 1 year with 20,000 sterling pounds (including the tuition fee)?!?

i guess so...ill get back to you on that...i myself am applying for my LLM to Queen Mary, my second year LLB result isnt that good so im hoping for a conditional offer....my friends who are my seniors have gone abroad ..ill ask them and post here in a day or so...but personally if u get campus accomodation ul be giving an extra 3000 to 3500 pounds and then the other costs including bus passes etc. so i think 20,000 should cover it. but let me ask and be sure.
