Hi everybody!
I just found out that IBT and PBT are different. I did not pay any attention while registering for the PBT. Do you think it is better to take the IBT over the PBT? Which one is harder? THe thing is that I take the PBT on the 13th of october while the early application deadline is 15th of November. Do you think this will be too tight? Thanks for helping me out!

Dear Fenua,
I don't really think universities pay any attention to the kind of TOEFL you will take. I took the iBT though and it took ETS around a month to send me the result. I have heard many saying that PBT is way easier. That being said, I think the universities you are applying to can best guide you on that. Contact them.
Good Luck,
Nina

Hi!
There are three ways to take TOEFL:
-PBT: paper based test.
-CBT: computer based test.
-iBT: Internet based test.
I don't know about other places around the world, but if you want to take the TOEFL in the US, you cannot choose PBT or CBT. iBT is mandatory since includes a speaking section that the other two don't.
If I was you, I would take iBT. It is online, takes 1 month to get the score and any university will accept it.
Hope I helped you!
