How strict are they with the Work Experience Requirement (maximum of 2 years)? It seems that most alumni of the Program exceed this (based on their profiles).

not too much, meaning that you can have slightly more than 2 years

I contacted the help desk and got as reply that it still might take a while until people would get notified.

Since I realized that I am not the only one curious about whether or not decisions have already been made, I contacted the WB again and got the following reply:

"Everyone selected will have been notified by the end of February. Please continue to check the web site for the latest information."

I hope that will calm you all down who still haven't heard back.

I applied and havent heard anything back as yet. Was a bit worried that the application status hasnt changed from 'Applied' to 'Under consideration'. Has anyone's application status changed?

At this rate, considering the delays in November and the deadline change to December, Id be surprised if they contact applicants before sorta mid-Feb. Does anyone know if they will just ring you directly or will they e-mail if you've been selected for interview?

So it seems pointless to keep hoping then? One person has already indicated that they've been informed by email so unless the WB is informing shortlisted candidates in batches, the interviewees already know who they are. Weird because one would think they would call interviewees and email rejectees.

It seems no chance for this year, all the short-listed candidates have already been notified according to the reply from the help desk...Maybe wait for the next round 2014?

nationality first and foremost. previous experience with international or national financial institutions is a great asset
