Okay so I just want to know if anyone has been in my shoes and what advice to take.
After I was offered admission to Georgia law I was elated , just for a follow up email hours later that I wasn’t granted scholarship. I declined the admission immediately tbh I was down but I had to move on.
I don’t know what school to apply to again that’ll grant me scholarship

If you are planning to start this year, you should check the universities whose application processes are still open (e.g., Northwestern's application process closes tomorrow and it offers very generous merit-based grants).

Thank you for this response I was planning to begin this year but my morale was crushed a few days ago , I really don’t know why I wasn’t granted a scholarship oh well maybe because I applied a day to the deadline for the priority application and as at when I applied all my credentials weren’t at Lsac yet.
I’ll like to reapply next year and I’ll check out Northwestern and please if there are other schools you can suggest to me I’ll appreciate

This far, I have received scholarships from Northwestern and GW Law, and I'm waiting for scholarships decisions in Virginia and Georgetown. Maybe you can check those Univerisities too.
Good luck!

I doubt you can surprise her because she will need to get her credentials evaluated by LSAC before applying to any school of her choice then she will get an admission then get a scholarship offer from the school she applies to.
What you can do is pay up the bills for the evaluation and application for her , she’s going to pay $220 to lsac for the evaluation and an application fee to every school she applies to(she may secure a waiver for some)and also $30 to lsac for every school they forward a report to. All in all she has to be actively involved you can’t do it for her

If you don’t mind sharing, how generous are the scholarships? More than half of tuition?

Northwestern Scholarship is for an LLM? or the 2-Years JD? How much does it cover if you wouldn't mind to share that info obviously, thanks!

I don't know if this is late but try Dalhousie University in Canada. They have a specialty in health law and they mostly grant full scholarship for their thesis based LL.M.

As far as I know, Dalhousie's applications are closed for 2020. Applications for 2021 will be due by the beginning of January.
