Hi, people.
As I'm not an English speaker, I have a question on how I can refer the statute.
For instance, assume that I found Art.III:5(a) in a WTO Agreement. (although there is no such provision in fact)
Then, how do I articulate it?
"Article three, 5 a(e-i)"
"Article three, clause 3 a"
"Third clause of article three"
Since I think we have different way of mentioning statutes system in our language, I became curious about how the English speakers do. Many thanks if anyone could help me.
How should I read the statutes?
