Hello everyone! I'm seeking insights into Georgetown Law's LLM program. Does the program place a strong emphasis on GPA? Mine is 12.5/20 due to previous work commitments. Any advice on strengthening my application? Also, if anyone has information on acceptance rates, I'd appreciate it. Thanks

The GPA is certainly an important factor, and you'd be below the average. However, it is not enough to disqualify you, given that you have a strong application that makes up for this in other areas. You can explain the reason for your GPA within your personal statement.
A professional experience that involves significant projects, positions of leadership and such can help offset a lower GPA. Excellent and relevnant letters of recommendation can also play an important role, as well as submitting a high-quality legal writing sample.
