Hi all! I am an applicant to Columbia's LLM program (2023-24). I applied over 10 days ago but still haven't received a confirmation email from the university acknowledging receipt of my application, although my Law School Report has been requested by the university from LSAC. To those applicants who were admitted to the 2022-23 cohort or to any of you who have applied for the 2023-24 program - is this delay in receiving the acknowledgement email from Columbia normal? Would be really grateful for any responses or inputs

I didn’t apply to Columbia so I wouldn’t know, but why don’t you contact them and ask? I’m sure they are happy to help with any questions you have. 

I tried reaching out to them on email, no response.

In that case I would try calling. I always had this issue with LSAC. Literally took them weeks to answer my questions via email while I would reach them within a couple of minutes on the phone.

Hey! I also applied a few days ago and did not hear anything from CLS (similar situation to yours, I assume). So maybe it just takes some time for them to respond. 
I'll let you know as soon as I've heard back from them - maybe you could do the same :)

I actually just received an E-Mail from the Admissions Office: They received my application, and it'll take up to three weeks for them to process it.

Also one more question - did you send the 'Executive LLM and LLM Dual Application' or just the 'Fall 2023 - Full time LLM Application'? The reason I ask is maybe they are sending out acknowledgements for the first category of applications sooner since the Executive LLM commences sooner. Would be super helpful for me to know!

I applied for the "Fall 2023 - Full time LLM Application". On Friday, I received an E-Mail with a Link to the Online Application Tracker by Columbia. So everything worked out. All I can do now is wait...

I don't know if this helps, but they have been using my secondary email address for some reason. I did email them to let them know in case it is happening to everyone and people miss communication. I applied on the deadline, haven't gotten that yet. The last email that I get is Your Columbia Application: Next Steps.

I can't find anywhere, precise information about how much work experience Columbia Law requires to apply to their LLM, can someone clarify it for me please?
