Halo all,
i've heard about the MSc program of the edhec, based in Nice campus, that last about nine months. Does anyone knows if the MSc is a good choice instead a LLM or not?
And, by the way, what are the differences between an Msc an a LLM?

Msc is Master of Science. The name of the degree does not give an indication of the quality of the courses, but usually MSc programs are open to students with degrees other than law, whereas to the LLM only lawyers are admitted. Big law firms generelly prefer the LLM (because they know it), but I would also consider other degrees. Oxford, for instance, does not offer an LLM, but the degree of MJur, BCL, MSc, MSt and MPhil (they are really inventive, aren't they...?).

And what about the EDHEC? Does it have a good reputation?

I Don't really know much about this course.
To Arnaud,Many LLMs are only open to LLB's or qualified Lawyers......... but not ALL.
LLM 's in International Taxation for example are open to non lawyers........
