LLM in Public international law

Hi, everyone!
I'm new here and was wondering if anyone can help me make a decision regarding my choice of LLm programme- Public International Law. I've so far heard and read only discouraging reports as to the job prospects and pay scales in this field. Are they accurate? I'm interested in the International law with international relations (BSIS). Any information and guidance will be appreciated.

I'm also interested in this program. But moreover, I wasn't sure if a law degree was needed before undertaking an LLM. I have heard from some that I need a law degree, while from others that it is not necessary. For BSIS, do I need a law degree? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Their website states that you don't need a bachelor's in either IR or Law to apply: http://www.kent.ac.uk/brussels/BSIS/admissions/requirements.html

Hi,

You don't need an undergraduate degree in law to take an LLM at BSIS. That also goes for most english LLMs.

I was just accepted to the LLM in International Law with International Relations and my undergraduate degree is in comparative politics. I will start in January, really looking forward to it!!

In terms of employment opportunities and such I am planing on joining the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs when i graduate. It is my impression that with this LLM you will be sought after by many NGO's. Not sure about the prospects in the private sector.
