Hi everyone,

I’m in the process of applying for LLM programs for fall 2025 and could really use some advice. I’m considering Leiden University (Public International Law) and the University of Edinburgh (Human Rights Law). I have a background in international relations and have been working for the past three years at a human rights NGO in Brussels, focusing on advocacy and policy work.

My long-term goal is to work in an international organization (e.g., UN or EU bodies), ideally continuing my work in human rights. I’d appreciate any advice on how these two programs compare in terms of reputation, networking opportunities, and career outcomes.

Thanks in advance for your input!
