I am concerned about Leiden's LLM programme. Can current or past LLMs share information about their academic experience.

1. Was it bad/good?
2. Were the lectures/seminars expansive on law related materials?
3. Was accommodation cost expensive?
4. Did you have time in between for an internship/externship?
5. Any employment prospects afterward?

I have never been a student of Leiden university, but I do know that it is the best Dutch university. I read that a few months ago in some official listing of the best universities in the world.

Leiden University has an expansive law programme that anybody specialising in International law cannot pass. By having access to the law library at the ICJ/CIJ. Whilst attending lectures/seminars at the ICJ/CIJ. Also having the privilege to do an externship/internship at one of the nearby organs (ICJ/CIJ, HCCH, ICC/CPI,ICTY/TPIY, OPCW, and CJEU) makes Leiden University very attractive.

Just to add. The rank of the immediate uni holds no bearing on my decision.
