Can anyone tell me how long it takes to know whether you were accepted at UNIL?

Who was accepted for the LLM?

I have been accepted to the LL.M. in UNIL. But I have not made my final decision yet, because the scholarship that they offered me is really inconvenient. I also need to think about the accomodation possibilities as it is highly recommended to look for accomodation as soon as possible and many student houses get fully booked in advance. So I have concerns about scuh practical aspects and also I am not so sure if the reputation of UNIL is good enough in Europe and if it is worth attending this program...I still have 3 weeks to make my mind so I would greatly appreciate it if other people could also state their opinions on the university, the LLM program, professors and whether they will attend it or not.

MLAC, to answer your question by they way, it took them 2 weeks to respond to my application which was quite fast! Did you already decide to attend the University of Lausanne?

Law is not the "speciality" of UNIL. And UNIL is not the very best university in Switzerland. But anyway, Switzerland is a great country to study and Swiss universities are usually well ranked in both worldwide and european rankings.

Professors are usually good and already have a good professional background because Swiss universities are usually well funded, but I can't help you on this particular program because I don't know it.

Also, you should check and see if you can't get in an intership into an international organisation in Geneva (60 km from Lausanne, and 40 minutes by train / car). It's difficult, but not impossible. That could be a good point to make your mind about this university.
