my name is Joao Pedro, i am a just graduated lawyer from Brazil, who is looking for a introduction program in international private law, in order to improve my CV, because i am planning to attend to a good LLM program in international taxation in a near future.
First of all, i was looking for the summer course in the Hague Acedemy, but after a lot of nonreturned emails from this program, i am starting to try new options.
Does anyone have some advice?
What about the Hague's program? Is it a good one?
What about other summer programs?
I would apreciate some help from LLM studentes or ex students.

Many US universities have summer programs, for example, Columbia University www.columbiasummerprogram.org
Cornell, University of San Diego and many other schools. Cambridge also runs a summer school: http://www.cont-ed.cam.ac.uk/IntSummer/sschools/EngLegal/index.html

I believ thos schools could be of more interest to you since, unlike the Hague programme, they tend to focus more on commercial law rather than public international law. However, the deadlines for application to most of these have already passed.
