Hello everyone here,
I am going to apply for a LLM programme in Netherlands, either in Amsterdam or in Leiden, perhaps somewhere else.
I have been informed that there are about 10 hours a foreign student can spend on a part-time job.
I wonder whether it is easy for me to get a job. And how much I will receive? Because the tuition fee and living expense are more than I can afford.

I have been a foreign student at Amsterdam. Foreign students can only work 10 hours pw as you say, but I had no trouble finding work in a call centre. Many British companies have their call centres in the Netherlands as it is cheaper labour for the pound sterling. I got the job through a student job agency (sorry, cant remember the name) that the university told me about. There is also plenty of bar/cafe work, and they dont mind if you have no Dutch, especially if you work in the touristy areas.

I forgot to mention the pay. I was earning Nfl 16 in the call centre in 2001 before Euros came in, which is equivalent to about 8 or 9 Euros per hour I think.
