Difficulty of admission to Copenhagen LLM?
Posted Dec 07, 2013 00:29
Hi
I'm a final year law student at the University of Aberdeen and am expecting either a high 2:1 or a first, I was wondering whether people knew how hard it was to get into Copenhagens LLM program? I am just trying to assess my chances of getting into in and so decide whether to apply to many other universities or not. (I am currently only applying to Copenhagen, Maastricht and KU Leuven)
Thanks!

Well I suppose this either means no one knows or no one has gone there, which isn't a bad thing in a way.

Hi, have you applied after all? what was your answer? My application was successful and generally I have the impression that if one submits it duly and with a decent motivation letter, the chances of admission are high. In fact I was expecting them to at least ask for a cv but this wasn't even necessary.
So, see you there?

Unfortunately I never applied and now its way too late, think I might go to Helsinki or Maastricht instead.

Hi,
I would like to know if there is anyone who have already applied for admission 2015. I am not sure what does it mean "Please note that a Professional Bachelor of Laws degree will not qualify for admission into the Master of Laws programme"?
Thank you!!

No, you can't apply until February I think? I'm not sure what that means, probably an accelerated programme or the GDL? If you are worried I would just email them and ask, they are pretty good at replying from what I remember.

Hi,
I have already applied for maastricht for the 2015 session and have been offered admission as well, so if there are any questions as regards the procedures etc, I'll be more than happy to help

any successful Copenhagen LLM'ers able to shed any light of how the university weights grades/letters of recommendation/motivation statement in assessing applications to commence the LLM at Copenhagen?
any insight or personal experience at all would be hugely appreciated!
