Applications to GA in 2021-22

I am wondering if they don't have enough scholarship this year, and that is why they made the crowdfunding...


I think they wanted to see if they could get at least one more scholarship with the crowdfunding, which they did. From what it seems they have at least 5 scholarships for the LLM, and another 5 for the MTJ, which would be half of what they had for the previous year from what I gathered. We also have to take into account that they're on schedule, at least according to the timeline on their website.


May I ask how do you know that there are (at least) 10 full scholarships available for this year's programs? 

I know the Academy publishes information regarding awarded scholarships in their annual reports, but I don't think anything has been mentioned about 2021. So, it's awful to think that maybe this year only half of scholarships will be granted 1f61f


What I meant to say was that they most likely have fewer scholarships to offer this year considering the crowdfunding campaign and the admission fee, which did not exist before. The numbers I mentioned were just an educated guess taking into account the current economic scenario.

Oh, I didn't know this was the first time the Academy asked for an application fee. But yes, what you say makes a lot of sense, due to the current situation. Thank you! :)

Hello everyone, i just got an email today from GA telling me that i’ve been accepted for the LLM program without scholarship.

Anyone got accepted as well?

This waiting period has apparently turned into a patience test, particularly for those who applied for the scholarship!

Does anyone happen to have any updates regarding their application for the scholarship? I have seen the Facebook group now has 15 members.


I also applied to the LL.M. program on the full scholarship track. However, I still haven't heard anything from the Academy. 

If somehow this helps, Geneva Academy is by far my first choice, but I also applied to other 4 LL.M. programs. And all 4 of universities have emailed me saying that, due to the pandemic and the large number of applications received this year, results will be delayed for approximately 2-3 weeks. So I believe the delay in admissions is a widespread issue this year.

No updates from my side. If/when I get any news on my scholarship application, I will share it here immediately (or at least as soon as I’ve managed to contain my excitement) and I hope everyone else will do the same.
