I am wondering if they don't have enough scholarship this year, and that is why they made the crowdfunding...
I think they wanted to see if they could get at least one more scholarship with the crowdfunding, which they did. From what it seems they have at least 5 scholarships for the LLM, and another 5 for the MTJ, which would be half of what they had for the previous year from what I gathered. We also have to take into account that they're on schedule, at least according to the timeline on their website.
May I ask how do you know that there are (at least) 10 full scholarships available for this year's programs?
I know the Academy publishes information regarding awarded scholarships in their annual reports, but I don't think anything has been mentioned about 2021. So, it's awful to think that maybe this year only half of scholarships will be granted
What I meant to say was that they most likely have fewer scholarships to offer this year considering the crowdfunding campaign and the admission fee, which did not exist before. The numbers I mentioned were just an educated guess taking into account the current economic scenario.
