I got accepted into U of T in January. Its currently between UCL and U of T for me but I'm leaning towards U of T due to their strong legal theory faculty, especially with Ernest Weinrib and Peter Benton.

I was also accepted to the U of T in January. I have offers from the LSE and McGill as well, and I'm waiting on some others, so we'll see! U of T is definitely not too shabby at all, though -- congrats to everyone who has been accepted!

Dear Lek,
Would you please kindly let me know when you got the offer? I am still waiting for their decision but also hope there could be some financial support? Thanks.

Thanks for your reply, Lek. I noticed your talk in McGill board and I think your English background(TOEFL) are so good that you could get the earlier offer. Congratulations.

Hi GHP, I think I'm just as anxious as you in waiting for the decisions. I was told that all decisions will be made by 1st week of April... The waiting is some sort of torture...... Would anyone know if U of T reject sa lot of applicants? Are they generous with scholarships?

Hi, Civilawyer,
I do not think there could be many scholarships from UoT although I also desire of it.

as far as I know they are not generous at all....I got admission but no scholarship. a friend of mine got admission two years ago and UT accepted to defer the admission for TWO years, but still did not accept to give grant :( sad!
I have serious problems funding my studies; does anyone know if a non-resident can apply for a loan in Canada? (who is also non-US resident)

Have you accepted the offer of U of T? 17 April is in 2 days... Actually, I'm still waiting for both (U of T and McGill). They said the decision should be taken soon...
I know they forwarded my application to the selection committee last week... :-(
Let me know if you have news :-)
