I really want to take the bar exam in New York, but I'm finding the process to get cleared to take the bar exam to be quite frustrating. I earned a law degree in Albania as well as an LLM in Ohio. The New York Board of Education has requested a number of documents, one of which is the accreditation for my university. I am in such a state of bewilderment due to the fact that my Albanian university has recently sent them my transcripts.

Yes, they want a letter of confirmation from the regulator of the legal profession in your home country stating that your degree is acceptable to enter the profession.
