NY bar exam question

sbpark84

hi.
i'm thinking about pursuing an LLM degree, but
i'm really curious about preparing for the NY bar exam.
The NY bar tests you on Constitutional Law, Contracts/Sales, Criminal Law/Procedure, Evidence, Real Property, Torts.
But, most law schools, if not all, do not allow LLM students to take the first yr JD classes.
Then, how do LLM people prepare for the exam without taking those classes?

If you take a bar review course such as BarBri or Pieper, all the material is in that course, thus you learn it from there.

concurr with Givemeajob LJ. also, some people take the LLM to gain enough credits to be eligible for the Bar exam (rather than to revise the tested subjects).

?? What does this mean? If you win enough credits...do you have exemptions for the exam? Does this work for foreign lawyers? and how do you do that?

No exemptions, you just need the LLM to be able to do the NY bar exam.
