NY Bar Exam and Courses

koala

Does anybody know what are the compulsory courses to take the NY Bar Exam. I have heard that students of Columbia have to take Corporations and Securities. Do you know which subjects qualify (for example copyright)? Does anybody know more specifically about it? Is there a list somewhere? Thanks in advance.

Hi.

I received conflicting information about the courses at CLS allowing to take the bar exam in NY.

I heard that the courses in Corporations and in Securities at CLS were 'compulsory' to take the exam after the LLM. That does not make real sense... I would not understand how any course could be 'compulsory' (apart maybe the introduction to American law').

Therefore I wanted to check this point. Does anybody have an idea of which CLS courses are 'acredited' for the purpose of taking the bar exam?

For example are copyright courses on the 'list'? I imagine that CLS holds a list of accredited courses (if such a list exists) but I wanted to know if you could already give me a broad idea of courses which you know are accredited...?

Thanks in advance.
