I am a lawyer from Southeast Asia. I previously requested for the evaluation of my foreign education credentials. I already received an email last year from the NYS BOLE that I am qualified to sit for the NY Bar.

My question is whether the eligibility expires. Meaning, do I have to apply within a certain period subsequent to receiving the email confirming my eligibility? I was planning to take the July 2015 exams but may have to postpone it to either February or July 2016.

Logic seems to reason that the eligibility does not expire but I just wanted to be sure anyhow. Hope you guys can help out.
