Bar Exam US

ckylwy

Hi, I have some questions about US Bar (Thanks)

1) I have a US Juris Doctor, but I am wondering if I can take carlifornia bar exam now because my social security number was long time ago (5 years) when I studied for my bachelor in US.

2) If I don't have related work experience in law firm, can I become qualified lawyer after passing the exam.

3) Does CA State Bar provide the Exam in Hong Kong?

Thanks

Your social security is valid no matter when you got it. It doesn't expire.

You can become a qualified lawyer after passing the bar, you don't need any experience working in law firm. However, if you have that would help you find a job after passing the BAR, of course.

And, yes the BAR you need to take in CA.

Best,
