Bar exam eligibility with an English LLB

xyz123

I have an LLB (Hons) degree from a top 5 university in the UK and completed the LPC (solicitor route). I will still need to get a training contract/pupillage before qualifying as a solicitor/barrister in the country, so technically I have completed the educational requirements but not work requirements to practise in the UK.

I understand that it varies from state to state, but will I still need a US LLM to sit any bar exam in the US? Which states are more likely to accept my qualifications as they are without needing to complete an LLM?

Thanks in advance.

It goes through admission eligibility state by state.

Best of luck!
