Hi
I will be graduating from Northumbria University this summer, I would have completed by degree in Law as well as the LPC(my course incoporated the LLP into the degree). I am yet to find a training contract.
I am considering moving to Australia and wondered if anyone who of a conversion course that would allow me to gain a training contract in Australia, or what other exams I would have to take. The only information I can find on transferring is if I had already completed a training contract in the UK.
Thanks Millie

The best is to have your legal training completed.
If you don't have any practical experience, you will have a hard time finding a job anywhere. (Not just in UK)
I suggest you gather some valuable experience, before even thinking of moving anywhere.
Competition in Australia will be tough. Big academic names for law schools are mainly domestic. So, if you're coming from abroad, you better bring along something Australian recent graduates dont' have.
And that could be, substantial experience. Specially, since Lawyers are not in demand in such a Jurisdiction, unlike many other professions and trades.
Good luck!
