I got an offer for LL.M (International and comparative law) on 16 march, which was my first preference. I am waiting if they are going to give me an offer for LL.M (IADR) too, my second preference.

Hey! Congratulations on the offer. I have also applied for the IADR programme. I have recieved a conditional offer from QMUL for their course on Comparative and international dispute resolution. Dont know whether QMUL is better or NUS

Hi everybody on this post
Im currently pursuing LLM in NUS.i can understand your anxieties and confusion on the admission process.Had been on the same boat last year so here our some quick thoughts

Admission offers will come as early as Jan and as late as end April so all those who haven't received an offer dnt lose hope!
Once you get an offer next step is to look for finances.. scholarship by Nus is scanty .. advice look for other sources
Accomodation process begins in early May and there are two or three rounds.Tip- apply for college green, its close to the campus and you will have other students for company.

Carefully read your offer letter and complete the formalities by the deadline dates

Somewhere near mid July you will be asked to participate in module selection. Looks like a complicated process but trust me it isn't. Tip- understand module selection process before hand so that you choose your subjects wisely

Bonus tip- if you are looking forward to this LLM as means of securing job especially in law firms in Singapore please reconsider your decision. Its more of a learning experience. The govt has made it stricter to employ foreigners so you might have to look at golden circle intl law firms or in house counsel jobs.
If you are interested in LLM to increase your knowledge horizon you have made the right choice, excellent faculty and good method of teaching.

Any other assistance i would be glad to help.
