Hey everybody,
I'm planning to do an LL.M in International Law at UCT in Cape Town/Rondebosch.
Does anyone know if it would really be necessary to buy a car there as busses etc. are not really safe or very rare?
Is Rondebosch that far away from the city centre? Where do most students live in Cape Town?
Well, I also have a dog - would this be a problem in Cape Town? Are there parks for walking?
Thx a lot for helping me!!

if you're not already in Cape town by now hope this helps.
Rondebosch is about 10 to 20 minutes drive from the city centre depending on whether you use highway. You can get to town easy enough by public transport. It is however really handy to have a car if you intend to really enjoy the beauty of cape town considering its vastness in size.
Its really a lovely city, and I'm sure you will enjoy your educational experince there.
Did my undergrad there.
