Ireland's University College Cork (UCC) has announced the launch of two new LL.M programs: one in Environmental and Natural Resources Law, and the other in Marine and Maritime Law.
The LL.M in Environmental and Natural Resources Law will explore emerging environmental challenges in the frameworks of law and regulation. Beyond environmental law, the LL.M. will also address topics in land-use planning, heritage protection, and others at the local, national, and international levels.
UCC's LL.M. in Marine and Maritime Law will cover topics significant to Ireland's maritime sector. This LL.M. includes some practical curriculum, including a clinical module on the law of the sea with access to the Irish Naval Service at Cork. It will prepare participants for maritime law careers in the legal sector as well as within the public and private sectors.
