Below is a short list of application deadlines for full-time LL.M. programs in the United Kingdom and Ireland beginning in fall 2016.
Some schools have not listed their deadlines for fall 2016 intake; these will be updated as this information becomes available. Other schools have "rolling" admissions, where applications are processed as they are received.
Keep in mind that some schools have specific deadlines to apply for scholarships and other funding, and these dates are often before the actual application deadline. Law schools might also have different application deadlines for domestic and international students. Check with the schools you are applying to for specifics.

Oxford Law
- Magister Juris deadline: January 22, 2016
- MSc in Taxation deadlines: January 22, 2016 and March 11, 2016
- Masters in International Human Rights law deadlines: November 20, 2015 and January 22, 2016
- MSc in Law and Finance and MSc in Criminology and Criminal Justice deadline: January 22, 2016
- Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice deadline: July 3, 2016
King's College London
- LL.M. deadlines: April 1, 2016 (recommended) and July 1, 2016 (subject to the availability of places)
University of London - Queen Mary (QMUL)
- LL.M. deadline: July 31, 2016
London School of Economics
- LL.M.: No application deadline; rolling admissions, closes when full.
- Executive LL.M: 6 months before proposed start date
University of London International Programmes
- LL.M. application suggestions: to sit exams in May, it's best to apply before September 30 of the previous year; to sit exams in October, it's best to apply before February 28 of the same year
Edinburgh Law
- Deadline, LL.M: September entry: August 11, 2016; January 2017 entry: November 17, 2016
- Distance Learning LL.M.: September entry: August 16, 2016; January 2017 entry: November 16, 2016

Trinity College Dublin School of Law
- LL.M. application deadline: Rolling, final deadline: May 31, 2016 (recommended to apply as early as possible)
- Mlitt/PhD application deadline: No closing dates for applications but there are only two registration periods (September and March). Students are advised to apply as early as possible prior to their registration period
Nottingham Trent – Nottingham Law School

University of Reading School of Law
- Rolling deadlines, school recommends to apply at least two months prior to course start (international) or one month prior to course start (EU/UK). Most postgraduate degrees start in January and in September
University of Birmingham School of Law
- Rolling admissions; for applications after July 1, 2016, a fee of 50 GBP applies
University of Nottingham School of Law
- Rolling admissions; courses start late September. School suggests to apply as early as possible
University of Southampton School of Law
- No formal deadline. Deadlines for research funding are usually at least six months in advance of the start date
SOAS, University of London
- LL.M. application deadline: June 30, 2016; for scholarships apply a month earlier
Durham Law School
- No formal deadline, research programs start late September, January, and April; students are advised to apply well ahead
NUI Galway School of Law
- Rolling admissions with four reviews per year: February 1 (round 1), March 1 (round 2), May 1 (round 3), June 1 (round 4). Once quota is reached applicants may be subject to a wait-list.
