Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law's third-annual New York Summer Seminar in New York City will run from June 30 to July 14. Designed for non-U.S. lawyers and law students, the two-week program offers an introduction to the theory and practice of the US legal system through classes, site visits, and simulations.
One-week Summer Patent Law Institute follows from July 15 to 19
The program starts with a week of courses focused on US legal concepts, followed by visits to courts, law firms, and "other legal sites of interest" in New York City, as well as visits to Cardozo's Innocence Project and intensive training in litigation skills through the Trial Advocacy program.
This program is followed by the Summer Patent Institute, a one-week introduction to the basic principles of United States patent law and its application to contemporary problems of practice and policy. The Summer Patent Institute runs during July 15-19.
