New one-year program will be offered in Maastricht starting in August 2013

The Maastricht University Faculty of Law and Oxford Brookes University School of Law have announced they will offer a new Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) in Maastricht starting in August 2013.

The one-year GDL program makes it possible for students with a bachelor’s degree in a subject other than law, a non-qualifying law degree, or a foreign (non-UK) degree to complete the academic stage of their legal training in order to then begin the professional stage of training as either a solicitor or barrister in England and Wales.

Oxford Brookes has long offered a GDL program, but the partnership will now let students complete the program in Maastricht.
