The International Legal Studies Program (ILSP) at American University Washington College of Law in Washington DC will be hosting its annual Summer Legal English Institute (SLEI). The institute aims to introduce foreign lawyers and incoming LL.M. students to legal English concepts.
The SLEI is offered from May 18-21 for an intensive 4-day course, and from August 3-August 20, 2009 for a three-week course. SLEI is open to anyone who wishes to enroll, regardless of whether they attend another law school, are a J.D., LL.M., or S.J.D. student, or a practicing lawyer.
