Boston University will host another Summer Legal Institute in London this summer. According to the program website, the course provides non-US lawyers and advanced law students with "intensive preparation in legal English and writing, and exposure to substantive American law topics in key areas of international business practice."
The first part of the program, "Working Effectively in Legal English with U.S. Attorneys," runs during July 1-21. The second part, "Key Doctrines in American Law and U.S. Legal Practice," runs from Jully 22 until August 11.
The program is "ideally suited" for lawyers planning on pursuing an LL.M. degree in the United States, at Boston University or elsewhere.
Applications are due on May 1.
