A short list of web-based resources that provide advice on visas, finance, etc.

Hundreds of students from around the world will come to the United Kingdom this autumn to begin LL.M. programs. LLM GUIDE has compiled a short list of websites that can help prepare incoming international students for the big move to the United Kingdom:

UKCOSA: The Council for International Education - provides news and practical advice about living costs, bank accounts, visas, accommodation, employment, and university fees in the United Kingdom, as well as guides to adjusting to culture shock and staying healthy.

British Council "Studying and Living in the United Kingdom 2005-2006" (pdf-file) - this brochure is last year's version, but the advice and breakdowns of living costs are still very relevant for incoming students.

UK Government Question & Answer Page about Visas - official answers to frequently asked questions about UK student visas.
